Fox Hide Oxfordshire
The Red Fox in the UK hold a great fascination and desirability to photographers. Foxes can be extremely difficult to approach and so to achieve a certain standard of image takes years of dedication and patience. Our guide Nigel has put in four years work and all the ground work in behind the scenes and we are very pleased to be able to offer this unique opportunity to photograph one of the most beautiful species the Red Fox. Our Fox Hide is located near Oxford where we have built a wooden two man permanent hide situated where the foxes feed. We work with the fox in the spring and Summer mainly, but some special days in Winter may be offered later .The site attracts a few Adult Foxes and Cubs . The site is also well attended by Buzzard and Red Kite . The foxes do come about 10 metres from the hide. A percentage of the profits from bookings for this hide will donated to the MS Society .

The day starts at approx. 8.00am and lasts until you decide to leave
As well as the foxes we have regular visits from Red Kites and , slightly less frequently Buzzards.The raptors either swoop down and grab a meal or land and feed on the ground.If you are very lucky we get very occasional visits from Roe deer although these do not necessarily come close enough to photograph.
Directions.-The village of Hampton Poyle is 6 miles north of Oxford and just over a mile from Kidlington.We are 4 miles from junction 9 of the M40 and a short distance from the A34

What to bring
Knowing the British weather I suggest bringing warm weather gear- hat gloves etc
Food is always a good idea if you plan to stay for long
Camera wise a lens in the 300-500 range should cover all eventualities with the 100-400 my preferred option.You will also need fully charged batteries and emeory cards.
If caught short a toilet is available in emergencies
